DAY 16 - Ferry from Corfu to Venice, Italy
It was a very, VERY early start today because we needed to catch the ferry at 6:30am! We got to the docks and found out that the ferry wouldn't be there til 9:00am. SPEWING!! So we hung around the docks, bored out of our heads, but at least Louis handed out our Contiki shirts that we had designed and we found a little coffee shop to have breakfast at. When the ferry finally arrived, we boarded, and almost everyone went straight to bed. It was a 24 hour cruise so we had plenty of time to fill, but there wasn't all that much to do. So we pretty much slept all day, got up for dinner, then piked it back to bed! We were both still really sick with bad head colds and a nasty chest cough, so we were thankful for the rest!
USELESS FACT: Greek people use 'ISH time' so when they say they'll be there at 6:30, they mean 6:30ISH. Which can mean no where near 6:30. Hence our delay that morning.
