The boat is fast, we're almost flying. We don't get to spend much time on land, just a few hours, and the rest of the time, we're covering distance. It's a big cruise ship with its own mall and movie theater and a running track on the upper level.

Mom had spent a few weeks in Malta before, so she was my tour guide for the day. Malta is very clean (even though there are poor people's quarters as well), nice, and we saw old city gates in the capital city of La Valetta, and a famous shipwreck, and then we went to an internet place to e-mail my two professors about a date for my exit exams in June.
