I guess Switzerland is known as the "midwest of Europe" for the attitude and niceness of the people.  I found this to be exceptionally true.  After an 8 hour bus ride, I was anxious to see all of what Interlaken had to offer.  It is the extreme sport capital of the world, offering skiing, skydiving, canyon jumping, night sledding, and paragliding.  Even though Joey did skydiving through the Swiss Alps, I took the less extreme version and went paragliding.  It was absolutely amazing and made me want to go skydiving immediately after.  With paragliding, you are harnessed to an instructor and an opened parachute and you run off of a cliff and just float around in the air. It is by far the best way to see Switzerland and the Alps.   The rest of the trip consisted of eating at Hooters (I never knew they had such great food!), having cheese fondue, going on a chocolate tour of the company that makes the "world's best chocolate," a spa day at a luxurious hotel overlooking the mountains (extreme...I know), and finally a lunch up in the mountains, facing the Eiger, one of the most dangerous mountains in the Alps to climb (and I know this because before I left I watched an Imax about it!).  Overall, the trip was wonderful and a great first start to all of the trips I'll be taking here.
