I asked if I could be moved as the girls are suffering from flu/colds and I really don't want to catch it.
Its not that I don't like to share... you have to expect that in dorms but its so nice to stay in this resort, come and go as I please and have temperatures etc just as I like... how selfish of me!
I've resorted to having my own breakfast... I can only do McDonald's for so long! Its back to the good ol weet-bix... (reminders from New Zealand) similar to weetabix but not as nice.. but it tastes better than cheese and lettuce!
I have finished yet another Sidney Sheldon number and brought 3 more last night at the book stall for just $10.... bargain...
Today you'll find me by the pool .... I have it to myself for quite a while... the sun is hot today despite me waking up to heavy rain... I like the weatherman here... he times it just so!
I enjoy the sun... but my god its hot..temperatures averaging around 31º C (88º F) during the day and 23º C (74º F) at night-time. The region is typically extremely humid, with humidity levels usually between 70% and 90%; often the air is muggiest in the early morning, abating somewhat in the afternoon. On rainy days it is not unreasonable to expect the humidity to reach 100%.
And believe me its hot hot hot!!! In fact too hot... I can only lay around the pool for about an hour and a half... I can feel it and that's dipping in the pool every 10 minutes or so...
And I am red.... lucky I never sat for too long and it will be brown tomorrow... I needed that Vitamin D top up!!!
I grab some lunch and sit in the grounds starting my new book... time stands still....
I do manage to paint my nails and have a KT mani and pedi special and a face mask... I haven't had one of those since I began travelling!
I was going on a tour tonight but decided to continue another lazy day with a DVD and of course Mr Cowell who returns tonight... sad but true.... I can't do something everyday... well I could but I'm entitled to lazy days too!! (travelling is hard work :))
When I was travelling by bus in Oz, they often put on DVDs and I happened to watch the Twilight.. this is a film that I never thought I would enjoy but hey I did... apparently there are 3 films in total and after watching the first one they then put on the second... by this time it was the early hours of the night (yes I was on a night bus!) and I fell a sleep... however in Bali I happened to pick up both 1 and 2, unfortunately they didn't have 3 in stock... so I settle and watch number 2 and doesn't it finish on a cliff hanger.... they was only one thing I could do.... yes download... thank you Itunes... bargain £3..... and so I watched the last installment into the early hours of the morning... I actually really enjoyed them....
So not much to write about but hey I make up for it tomorrow.... well maybe!!
