Had a very busy day at work. Martine had delegated me the"scenario testing" responsibility and we needed to compile our Bus Prc 007 by the meeting at 4pm. We did pretty well considering both Paul and I were new to this and didn't really have a clue what we were supposed to do!

I was however very keen for after work drinks which Neeta had planned at Newton on Crescent. Trish and I had made plans to meet at the Rio offices after work so Guddis waited with me there. We had some direction issues (Trish got lost!) and so we ended up meeting up with Trish back at the apartment.

We walked back along Saint Catherine and caught up with Sabrina who was leaving for Europe the next day. Then on to Newtown where we ordered some happy hour 2 for 1 vodka cranberries, yum! Neeta and the rest of the work crew turned up at about 6 after a meeting.

Trish and I shared a mini burgers and another drink. Kuldeep came along briefly and as we were there with mostly Accenture employees he picked up the tab for the drinks, sweet! We met some more of the Accenture people working on the RTBS project.

At 7.30 Trish and I decided to head to the Bell Centre to try our luck at getting tickets for the Ice Hockey. We got there just after it had started as we had been told the tickets would be cheaper then. The first scalper that we came across wasn't keen no negotiate and told me to "go home and wank myself".....Nice!

The next guy was much better and Trish talked him down to $45 a ticket. We think he got in trouble from the other scalper for selling to us! Our seats were right up in the pleb section in the rafters of the Bell Centre, but we could still see well and were just keen to be amongst the action!

The score was 1 all when we arrived, and Montreal went on to score another 4 goals and Tampa Bay another 1 goal to make the Canadiens the winners of the night! Great! The atmosphere was great when they scored a goal and there was even a bit of Mexican wave action etc.

I managed to capture one of the goals on video camera, so was stoked about that! After the game we left the Bell Centre and headed back to Tim Hortons for a hot chocolate before bed!
