What a shame - the weather is crap. We're staying in a lovely hostel though called 'Cool Bananas' !!!
On our first night we were taken to a house party 5 mins down the road. Everyine hung out drinking around a huge bonfire and we met loads of locals (some more desirable than others!). Unfortunately I forgt the mozzie spray so of course one of the little critters got me. Only prob was it was right on my temple. O normally react quite badly to them, but had never experience one on the face....well it was the funniest thing ever. When I woke up the next morning my right eye was swollen right up so I could hardly see out of it...Jen told me I was the 'elephant woman' (there's a whole page in her journal dedicated to it!!). The swelling lasted for about 3 days and I got several stares - check out the photo for the full effect!

When the rain comes down in such a small town there's very little to do, but I got a lot further ahead in my book which is great. On the second day the weather cleared enough for me to go on a 'Scooteroo' tour. Before you have visions of me on a little scooter hold on....I rode a chopper!!! It's basically a mini Harley and was so cool. We drove all round the back roads around Agnes Waterm past loads of Roos & Wallabys (although I still struggle to tell the difference between them!) We then drove down into the Town of 1770. We went and sat down on the rocks by the water and watched the sunset. It was by far one of the most awesome sunsets I have ever whitnessed...check out the photos for proof!
From here out bus times go a bit mental as they are all night buses which start to throw your body clock out!
