It's been another exhausting day for Kaf and her intrepid travel buddies. The day has been full of sightseeing, shopping and socialising.
Kaf rode the subway and thankfully didn't get mugged. She also visited the Statue of Liberty and the Rockefeller Centre.
Despite the gruelling schedule, Kaf has found time to show her true colours (not her alter egos) and has been flirting with the local men folk. Apparently she has a penchant for men in uniform. Who knew? Obviously they weren't to her liking though and she has chosen to remain in the company of her travel companions. Think that is a very wise choice Kaf as we don't want you coming home with any nasty stick infections.
After all the excitement, Kaf needed some gelato to cool herself down. Is it the heat or the hormones, not quite sure but ' Don't eat too many of those Kaf, you have still got two and a half weeks to go, we don't want you getting a fat head.'
With a full belly, Kaf needed to rest her weary stick. She takes some time to sit for a while in cemetery of the Trinity Church and contemplate how lucky she is to be in New York.
Gaining a second wind, she has forged ahead to do a bit of dress shopping, hoping to pick up a frock for Vegas (a destination to be visited later on, if Kaf makes the distance). Which one do you think suits her best?
In true Kaf form, the day ends with some cool, refreshing beverages. I hope she didn't overindulge as she is prone to do on occasion. I can hear Madge saying, 'Behave Kaf, no bleating allowed or you will be back in the bag'
So, at the end of another exciting day it appears that Kaf continues to have a good time however Madge is becoming a bit concerned. She is particularly worried that Kaf will sneak out of her bag and be destined to live the rest of her life on the streets of New York.
I hope not, I have come to like Kaf.
PS. Apparently New York is putting on quite a lightening show tonight. Is this a natural phenomena or something that has occurred cos Madge and Kaf are in town.
Oops, forgot to make mention that Val and Kaf have made up. Despite Val being a little bit jealous of all the attention Kaf is getting from the local men folk she did lend her her hat to protect her from the intense New York heat. Kaf obviously forgot to pack one.
