A 90's night and a Highland wedding!

Where I stayed
The wedding venue was in the Norwood Hall Hotel in Aberdeen, which was really picturesque and a great place for a wedding. After the ceremony and the meal, it was a traditional Scottish ceilidh for the entertainment, which I LOVE!!! I didn't stop dancing all night, and was on the floor for every dance except for the slow mushy one. It was a brilliant day and night, and a perfect end to my Scotland holiday road trip! (But there's one more entry...keep reading...)
So, I finally made it to Aberdeen on my whistletop tour of Scotland, in time for the wedding. I headed to my aunt & uncle's place, which would be the roof over my head for the next 2 nights. My 'wee sister' informed me that I was going to be their fourth team member at a charity quiz night, and then we'd be going to a "90's night" in Aberdeen. At the quiz night, I felt priviliged to be included in a team that named themselves "The Young Ones", even though I felt like a fraud given that they are only 19. Ah well, who's to know...! We failed abysmally in the quiz, but it was fun, then headed to the "90's night". Having been to "70's" and "80's" nights, I was intrigued. It turned out to be in this club with lots of 90's memorabilia posters all round the place and 90's music. It was the opening night, and the place was dead - not sure how that will pan out for them. Anyway, my 'wee sister' got me drunk, and we got home about 3am. I woke around midday, very hungover and with a wedding to go to, but I was salvaged by the promise of a bacon sandwich from my uncle John, after which I was able to get ready for the wedding.
