Cuzco, 3 weeks of school before I head out into the big world of South America with my bad Spanish. The school is very quaint, but so far I am not that impressed with the teachers. They arnt as organized as my teachers in Spain. And they lack explanation. One good thing is I am the most advanced in the class. And I have actually started to speak Spanish. The accent here is soooooo much easier to understand. I have already booked my Inca trail for the 8th of April. I thought I have better get in early. Lots of people have missed out because they left the booking to late.

In Cuzco I have been staying with a family. They speak only Spanish which has been great for my Spanish.

I head to Urbumba next week as the school has a camp there. Cuzco is a little touristic for me at the moment and I really need to chill out after all the parting in Spain and New York. This week I have been so tired. I think its due to the altitude.

14th of April....
Well just come off the Inca trail. It was much harder than I thought! But I really feel like I have accomplished something. Meet some really nice people to. Half of our group of 11 were South American. 2 from Uregury, one guy from Columbia and Renato from Brazil. It was good practice listening to all the different accents, and I was surprised at how much a understood. I got on really well with Renato, who was really sweet! And cute! In the end everyone ended up in Cuzco and we all went out. I was fun. Cant believe this is my last week in Cuzco.

Renato and another girl called Anna (also from Brazil) are coming with me to Puno. It should be fun. Hope the weather is good.

18th of April....
Well the weather was bad in Puno. Shame, it wasn't what I expected. But the visit to the islands was interesting. I don't really like guided tours, but it was fun. I Just arrived into Copacabana from Puno. This is much better! And the weather has improved. Shame Renato couldn't come, but he and Anna went back to Cuzco. Renato will be meeting me in La Paz on Thursdays. Thats if his plans don't change. I have my pre start meeting with Kumuka tours on Thursday a 6pm as well. Hope the group is good.
