The overseas trip, around the world is over and it has been a wonderful adventure.
On arrival in Melbourne airport we cleared customs so fast and then it was The Australian newspaper for Kath and the soccer final between Chelsea and Munich for Sheila, showing on a big TV screen in a coffee shop. We had a 3 hour wait for our connecting flight to Adelaide so we were able to enjoy the extra time and a penalty shoot-out game!
Back in Adelaide to catch up with Nell, do some business and essentials before setting off in the van to the warmer climate of Queensland. Unfortunately the van's battery died during the 7 month's storage so with service and new battery it was a $900 slug to the bank account!
Our home in Brisbane goes back on the rental market at the end of June as the Swedish family who have rented it since we left Brisbane in October 2009 are transferring overseas. We have been very fortunate with that rental and are hoping the agent finds another long term rental for us!!
No intention of settling down yet!
