THE TERRACES CP

A few days in our favourite little town on our way back to Brisbane for the last time before we set off finally for Tasmania. We did our usual favourite things and had a swim at the beach.

Met Ray Butcher a born and bred local who was has been living in the caravan park for 11 years after a life in the town He was a fisherman and a cook and we were served a meal of savoury beer battered flat head for Saturday lunch and a large pack of green prawns caught by "his buddy" to take with us. Wow! He gave us a hand when our gas bottle sprung a huge screaming leak and frightened the life out of us. We happened to have the site next to his "house" and really appreciated this encounter.
