Stopped at Grafton to get some groceries, and make a few phone calls. The shopping centre was busy, noisy and we were keen to get going to a quieter spot which turned out to be Mulligan's Hut camp ground. The hustle and bustle of town/city life hits you with a thud, even after only a few days away from it! Are we wimps'or what?

The drive along the Gwydir highway was picturesque and easy.
