We got through customs very quick. Was unsure on how long we would have to wait in line, but it was very quick. I guess it makes a difference when you are going through customs in the tiny Winnipeg Airport. The plane we were in was absolutely tiny and when we exited we were dumped right on the tarmac. Made me feel like a movie star! haha

We had a three hour layover in Chicago and we spent the majority of time at a bar drinking. It helped pass the time well!. The flight overseas went without a hitch. First time I have flown overseas other than Air Canada, but I think that if given the choice I still would fly good ol' AC. Better movie/TV selection and bigger screen, but the food on United was better. Entertainment on an overseas flight will win over food quality for me. I need my brain  to be stimulated or I would go crazy with boredom. Luckily I brought my netbook with me and I downloaded lots of TV shows and movies to pass the time. We saw the movie 500(days) and it was mediocre. I managed to get a couple of hours sleep on the plane. 

Flying in the off season is very noticeably slower as there were many open seats left. So jealous of the people in the middle rows who were able to stretch out and lie down.
