Today I am taking the train to Kutna Hora which is an hour's ride outside of Prague. Three Australians (Kevin, Bob and Linda) from my hostel are checking it out too, so I am tagging along.

The big draw in Kutna Hora is the Bone Ossuary. There is this church that has thousands of human bones that an artist fashioned into such things like a chandelier, coat of arms and many other fancy decorations. It was really cool. There are more bones in this church than in my closet! Then we walked around the old part of Kutna Hora a bit and enjoyed being away from all the crowds. Kutna Hora is very nice and was a nice break from the fast paced ways of Prague. I also like to check out smaller towns along with the cities as they are so different.

Later we checked out a Czech restaurant and I had a yummy roast duck, red cabbage and dumplings. Plus 2 beers! It only works out to be around a dollar for half a liter and fresh from the tap!

Heading back to the hostel, there was a new guy Michael (Australian, living in Switzerland working at a ski shop, nice!) who was really nice and friendly and we went down the bar for some drinks. We met up with Andrew, an American guy, and drank some more. We made plans for the next night to meet up as well. It was nice going to bed and being the last ones in the dorm. All the partiers have checked out. There is another guy in our dorm, but he is not too talkative and spends most of his time texting people. I don't think he speaks English at all though. I have heard him speak Czech to the people at the front desk.
