Right, getting a bit behind on this so hopefully this will be a quick update of events.  After my perfect paradise of Trinidade I had an 18 hour bus ride to Puerto Iguazu, Argentina.  Fortunately I met up with some (more) Irish girls and had some company for the ride.  After a bit of faffing at the boarder (on bus, off bus, passport stamped, 40 min wait, on bus, off bus, passport stamped, on bus again) I got to my hostel.

The town of Puerto Iguazu isnŽt what IŽd call beautiful but it is near the boarder of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguy so I dutifully went to look at the tri-boarder so I could say IŽd done it and actually, I was pretty impressed with the view.

Next day I went with the 2 Irish girls and their friends back to Brazil (more passport stamping and jumping in and out of taxis) to see the falls from the Brazillian side.  Wow! It really was impressive.  The sound of the falls creeps up on you as you get closer until you have to shout to get yourself heard.

The following day we did the same, but on the Argentinian side which is a very different experience.  From this side, you are able to get much closer to the falls and even have a boat trip behind the falls.  I was warned that I would get wet so I took my rain mac, which, it turned out was a waste of time, a swimming costume would have been more appropriate!
