The train from Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur was less of an adventure since it was all after dark. We did watch the sunrise for the second day in a row, and arrived just at rush hour in Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station.


We are grateful to another friends-and-family connection that gave us a place to stay while we were in Kuala Lumpur, with Ted, who lives a condo with a view of the Petronas Towers! We certainly appreciate his generosity, and we were grateful not to have to compete with all the other tourists looking for a place to stay for Thaipusam festival.
