This morning Dziadziu took me to Storytime at the Woodbury Library. Mommy had asked him to pick up passes to the Time Expo Museum in Waterbury but he forgot. I made some Halloween art projects at Story time.
Then, we all drove to Waterbury. It turned out that the museum had an entrance fee more than we were willing to pay when we could have gotten in for free so we decided not to do that. Instead, we went to the Brass MIll Center to pick up some winter pajamas for Andre and a winter hat for Mommy. This morning a winter storm warning was issued for Connecticut and when we left Chicago the weather forecast said 60s and sunny all week so we needed to do some shopping.
Then, as we were walking through the mall, Mommy saw a body piercing shop and decided on a whim to get her nose pierced. She was causing a commotion thinking that it would be painful and the people at the store were laughing saying that they would get piercings any day but would never give birth without pain medication. It turned out that Mommy felt so silly because she didn't feel anything after all. It looked cool! I wanted one too but Mommy said I could get a henna tattoo instead. So we went downstairs and I got a henna tattoo on my hand. Andre slept through the whole ordeal.
We returned home to relax and continue to help Dziadziu and Gramcia simply their lives while we waited for the impending winter storm that was expected to drop 10-12 inches in the Litchfield Hills!
