What I did
Imagine Nation Children's Museum
Once again we got a very late start. It was very cold, rainy, and windy today. We planned on going to the children's museum in Bristol. Mommy checked out the directions on google maps and it said 30 minutes on one road. Okay - this should be easy.
Once we finally got started, Mommy and Gramcia got talking again and left Dziadziu to navigate alone. What were they thinking?!! We saw a welcome to Farmington sign and knew that it was a mistake to not pay attention. Anyway, it worked out fine because we stopped at a really great restaurant for a late lunch (Joey Garlic). Mommy and I shared mussels, something we rarely eat so it was a nice treat.
We got back on the road again and realized that we had surpassed our destination by over 20 minutes. At least it was Farmington and not Florida!! The children's museum was called Imagine Nation. There were three floors with tons of different activities. I loved the water activities and the NASA theater where we got to watch the space shuttle take off. There was also a large display of dolls from around the world. Many of the dolls were the same ones that Mommy collected when she was a child. Maybe we can make our own display in our home ??!!
Then, we dropped Gramcia off at Maria's and stopped in to say hello. We also stopped at New Morning so Mommy could get some kale and Kombucha. She ran into her friend Julie from high school and ended up staying and talking for a bit.
We got home and took a long nap. It was a fun but tiring day.
