On the  last day of our road trip, we went to Comstock where my dad and Monica have a second home.  He bought the house this past year to use as a hunting lodge.  Along with the house they bought 187  acres of river front property that my dad will use to hunt duck and pheasant on.

Today we went out on ATVs to steak out the boundary line of his property.  It is a really pretty area of Nebraska with the Middle Loup River running though it.  It had rained two inches the night before, so we got a little muddy, but it was still fun.

Across from my dad's house is a park.  The park has a huge slide that used to be a fire escape for a school.  Ben likes to go down it using wax paper to make him go fast.  He shoots out of there like a cannon.  I haven't attempted to go down it yet as I'm not really wanting to crash and burn.

The house itself is still being remodeled and hopefully will be done in time for hunting season.  It will be a fun little get away for my parents and the grandkids love the park across the street.
