just a couple more days until i leave. feels a little like leaving for haiti except much less pressure. i get those feelings of homesickness already, but i know i'll only be gone a month. i feel badly that i am not really prepared. i haven't read a whole lot about what is going on in turkey right now, but i know there is some very exciting things happening. my house is a wreck. what will i pack? is it wrong to think more about turkey's beaches and beer availability than their current political situation?
