We made a stopover in the Northern Thai city of Chiang Mai en route to the Laos border, for a few days of eating, pampering and shopping. We gorged our way through street food and fruit shakes. We indulged in all manner of Thai spa treatments. We bargained hard for chachkas at the night market. Michael was in online heaven with free (and fast!) internet - and wi-fi - at our hotel. We got a lot of trip planning and other business done. The pictures tell the rest...
