Today we went to Thibodaux, Louisiana, to see Aunt Sarah, Tiffany and her kids... Oh It was so nice to see Sarah. I wish we could have stayed longer... I sure missed her on the island! Sarah & Tiff made a great Gumbo, for lunch with rice.. It was yummy.
After leaving there we headed for Beaumont. Once we got there, we couldn't get off the freeway.. That town has the most idiotic off ramps we have ever seen... So we whizzed by and decided to try a little farther ahead... So Tonight we are staying in Winnie, Texas, at the Winnie Inn. When we turned on the TV here, they were talking about a hurricane in Galveston. That isn't that far from where we are... We be  gettin out of here tomorrow...
Vern had a nice visit with his friend Woods. He came to our Motel. I got photos of them!!
