This morning we decided to sleep in due to the Daylight savings time. We took off around 11:30 for the Alamo. San Antonio is about a hour south of Austin. Today was the first day that we encountered less than perfect weather, a little overcast. We had a great day of learning about the Alamo and walking the Riverwalk in San Antonio.
After walking around the Alamo and learning about America's History we took a stroll down the Riverwalk and check out the local sites. We stopped off and ate at the Cafe Rio'(the oldest restaurant on the Riverwalk).
After a delicious meal we hit the road again. We first drove through and great city with a German influence called Fredericksburg.
No not the one off I-95. Then it was off to Fort Stockton. There will be more about this later!
