London- and an update
Since the time I could remember I adored Princess Diana so to take a walk with the princess was a really nice treat. We started our journey at Buckingham Palace where the kids enjoyed scooting on the grounds outside the Palace. We then began our long trek with the princess. Yes, the park has dedicated a long path circling the park as the Princess Diana Memorial Walk. On the way you see lovely gardens, fountains and at the end of it the large playground designed in her honor- Never-land playground. Designed from the pages of Peter Pan it’s a great park to take the kids; however we arrived a few minutes too late so our walk was all for not! Please get there before 4pm because it is definitely a place will be revisiting!
Next on our itinerary was to drop by Covent Gardens. If you are only in London for a night or two make this one of your stops! What a cool place to shop, eat, drink and be merry!
www.covent-garden.co.uk  Here is a great website that can help guide your trip to make it more accommodating to your needs.
We grabbed a bite at a tapas chain- I believe they have the same restaurant in Brighton: forgot the name but it’s not really worth reviewing.
UPDATE:
Well as you’ve probably guessed we finally got internet, phone, and TV. Just arrived about a week ago! I know it took forever but it finally happened. We also got a car that I can drive (sort of). This is my complaint about driving on the roads in England-they are too SMALL! Look I am use to the wrong or ahem the left side. That’s cool. I can deal. What I can’t deal with is double parking on small streets and weaving in and out of cars because you’re too scared to go down the road together or the fact that parking is literally impossible and you feel like Austin Powers every time you parallel park! I avoid the runways as much as possible but when I do it everyone fear me! Hahahaha
Other than that, the kids are adjusting really nicely. Julia loves it and school is a cool new adventure for her. She does have an accent but it switches in and out of Long Island. Tommy is starting finally to feel the groove and is enjoying his new home. Shane is happy we have internet and loves our area as do I! We have met a nick clique of friends and I’m even going to join the volleyball league!
We miss you all and thanks for all your kind words and support. We enjoy clicking on FB and seeing everyone back home enjoying themselves and their fun updates. Love US!! xoxoxo
