Welcome everyone. Thank you for joining me again on what promises to be yet another splendid adventure. If you have read my last two blogs you will know that I am someone who loves to travel, and to write about the things I see and experience. I invite you to follow me on my adventures on my year abroad in England!

On September 16th I am moving to the United Kingdom. I will be spending one week in London and York before heading to Durham where I will undertake my Masters Degree in Defence, Development and Diplomacy at Durham University. The program is an intensive, 1-year program and therefore by next October I will be Noah Schwartz, MSc. But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Throughout the year there will be plenty of side trips - including two weeks in Russia.

A New Type of Trip, A New Type of Blog

Studying abroad in Britain is a new type of trip, and thus demands a new type of blog. Similar to my blog while I was in Geneva, the Britain blog will be slightly irregular. I will do my best to write at least once a week, but my courses promise to keep me extremely busy. Entries will of course intensify during weekend trips and holidays and I will try to keep you as updated as possible on my adventures.

Your Opinion Counts

A big thank you to everyone who filled out my online survey from Das Euro Blog. Your feedback was greatly appreciated. You spoke, I listened. Thus the features you enjoyed in my last blog will be reappearing this time. This includes Euro Songs, Guest Columns and some new features as well. Most importantly there will be lots more pictures per entry.

Keep Up the Chatter

One of my favorite parts of blogging on my trips is that it allows me to maintain a connection with all of you folks back home (and abroad). Make sure to keep up the comments. If you like something you see or read, let me know with a comment.

Welcome aboard A Blog in Britain. I hope you will keep following me throughout my journey.

- Noah Schwartz
