- 8 hour bus ride from Kelowna
- HI hostel is jammed packed
- And the people here are CRAZY ! (maybe not all locals but the backpakers)
Anyway, to start off, we arrived at the Hostel around 5:30 - 6pm. Unloaded our bags in our rooms...operative word is in OUR own rooms. Apparently we were all in different rooms, wasn't really told that so Aaron and Michael stored their bags in one a room and I stored mine in another room.
Met up with a couple of aussie chicks who had been in london for 2 years and a Quebec chick. Had a few beers at the Hostel, found out that I was in the wrong room (wondered why my swipy card wouldn't let me into the room). Suppose to be in the same room with the aussie chicks.
To keep the rest of the story very very short...went out to a pub for $1.75 spirits (very limited selection and watered down) and the rest was history.
Anyway that night was a shocker, and more weirdness was to occur but all of this story cannot be told in this forum.
