Rolliston Caravan Park (hick town)

Well here we are again, at another caravan park. Not that we are complaining, we like the use of power for our fridge and Kylie has her lights setup that we bought in Thailand!!! Did we tell you all that this was a long weekend in Australia, the Queens birthday to be precise, although Kylie told me that it is not actually the Queens birthday?!?! So I am confused, unless it is another queen? hmmmmm

Tomorrow we are going to Carnarvon Gorge and will stay 2 nights, already prebooked, the first one we had to do like that, but as we get farther into Winter, more and more people are coming up from the south and the "grey caravaners" are coming in droves!! How dare they compete with us youngsters!

After Carnarvon Gorge we are going to head back to the coast and after 400+ kilometers we will have traveled maybe 100-200km if we were to haver gone straight up the coast, I think it is a good idea to head inland a bit at times to experience all of Australia.

We have set a rough time line for ourselves, and want to be in Cairns at the end of the month. This we figure will allow us enough time to get all the way around Austrlkia in our 7 months here! Well that is what we are hoping, so far we are travelling only short distances, but we think that as we get farther North that will change as the towns become farther and farther apart.

Looking forward to Carnarvon Gorge tomorrow, and hoping that the weather will hold out and maybe get nicer, it's over cast today. It is supposed to be very pretty, almost as much as KYlie, and want to see it at its best. We haven't had much luck everytime we go to the beach, always raining, so maybe iunland we will have better luck.

Talk to you all later,
Keir and Kylie
