We are in Thailand  :)  (Keir's input)

So we arrived safe and sound...it was a long delayed flight. But we are here, using free wirless internet from the guesthouse next door!! We don't have much time to alaborate on the last 2 days as this connect may cease at anytime..as we found out abruptly before.
Here are some photos of the hostel we are staying in...

Had a great day today !!  Got up super early, early enough to see the sun rise on the rooftop patio, well that is, we could have if it wasn't cloudy (or smoggy), but at the very least, up early.  Went down stairs and had a great breakfast, rice soup, Kylies with shrimp and mine with chicken, very very good. !!  Coffee though, leaves something to be desired, tasted very bad and the sugar didn't even seem to help that much.  And forget about the cream they offered, had gone sour. YUCK!
Went to the train station, which was right across the street and bought our tickets for Chang Mai (771thb and 841thb)  the top bunk being a little cheaper.  To bad all of the 1st class rooms were taken, we were looking forward to having our own room. So we got the 2nd class sleeper. I guess we will survive in a room for 4, with bunk beds, Kylie wants to top bunk anyways!
After the train station we took our bags to the storage place, Bangkok Storage, pretty much like U-haul, 940 baht for 9 weeks, a steal !!!  We didn't need our own lock even though we brought one, they probably just put all the bags in a large room together.
Taxi ride to Khao San Rd. driver wanted 200 baht, after telling him to turn on the meter and getting to tourist town, the bill was 100, the meter is the way to go !!!
Lots of clothes and other things along tourist road, quite a few nice things, but I thought it would be a little cheaper, I think we are getting spoiled by Chinese imports in Canada !!  Hard to believe, but the prices weren't slashed like I thought here.
Played crib and had some large Chang beers, and then went out and had a great Chinese/Thai meal, in China Town for 280 baht. Yeah yeah...Chinese...in Thailand...but it looked so good! Back home now and Kylie is taking a nap, poor girl.  I think we are still a bit jet lagged, I felt shaky today.
Well that's it, we are leaving for Chang Mai tomorrow, we just don't find cities that exciting....out in the country will be a lot more exciting.  Bangkok is just a big, noisy, busy, dirty city!!
