A very bad day in Sipadan was still better than a day at work! It was 6am and we were already off to Sipadan and it was raining. We were wet and cold and halfway there, the island was gone from our sight. What a start. I was thinking, oh no this is the worse day to be diving in Sipadan. Well if we could find the island first!

Finally our dive guide got us there. Phew! The first dive was a blur but was still nice. After that, it was still raining. We got on the island for brekkie, and then off to the second dive. The weather got better after each dive. Went back to the rig for lunch and we all decided to come back for dive 4 and 5 in Sipadan. It was a good decision as finally the fifth dive was the best! We were all swimming (or more like hanging for dear life) in strong currents to see this huge school of barracudas. The day that started so miserably, ended in a very spectacular way. Amazing!
