Where I stayed
At Cameronian Inn where I stayed, they serve probably one of the best tea and scones in Cameron Highlands. The room was just average and they didn't have hot water which was bad because the water was freezing cold.
There were numerous jungle trails to do here. Some trails were longer than the others. Just get a map and choose where you want to go. I did the short Parit Falls trek and the slightly longer one to Robinson Falls. The former ended at Parit Falls which was a very small cascades, but sadly the waterfall was littered with bottles and styrofoam boxes. It was hard to take pictures of the nice scenery without having these rubbish ruining them. The Robinson Falls was a bigger and nicer looking waterfall. Great picture opportunity. The walk was longer but easy.
My most memorable moment in Cameron Highlands was when I cycled from Tanah Rata to one of the the tea farm. Going down hill on the old bicycle was a mix of adrenaline rush and fear. It was exhilarating. Please be careful if you do this because the road was steep and there were a lot of buses and trucks going up and down the road. The tea farm was beautiful. There was no way to relax after cycling the treacherous road other than celebrating ypur taste buds with nice hot milk tea (we call it Teh Tarik) and scones and chocolate cake! However the ride back up the road was hell! It took me more than an hour!
Other than that, I also visited the strawberry farm. It was ok but not as impressive as the tea farm. Overall, it was a great holiday.
