After i ate breakfast i went to my room and tried to find out where i should go right now. i wanted to get out of the city for today and see the culture life around hamburg. the housekeeper that was changing my sheets suggested i go to Wedel. She said its a great place to go to if i want to see people in daily life around the city. i rode the bus to Hamburg airport and rented a Citroen xsara for $442.94. So i set out to Wedel. Wedel is only 11 miles west of Hamburg so it wasn't that far. First place i visited was Ernst Barlach Museum, since its only open Monday to Friday, 11 am - 5 pm and it was already 1pm. I like museums that had to due with literature and i heard that this was a house of a person who was an author. When i went in there was some author reading something and i stood there just like many others did and listen to him read. After the first reading i broke off and toured the house. it was full of sculptures that were made of metal and paintings that looked so old. The house was huge and by the time i left it was already closing time for it. i didn't want to leave Wendel so fast though, but i knew i had to get back home so i started to drive away until i saw park and park after another park and in every one of those people were playing different sports games. and everyone of those had a tournament or something because there was always a lot of people gathered around to watch others play. Everyone was cheering everyone off and so i joined the crowed too. When someone on the soccer feeled hit a goal half the crowed would cheer and i even got a hug at the eng of one of the games. Further near River Elbe people were having skater competitions and i also stayed and watched. one boy told me that it was how the life here in Wedel was. Sport was a thing they had it common...or i think thats what he said since he said "Sport ist Spitze" a lot. I got back home around midnight and i was still not tired. so i wrote this.
