I have told several people I have met that their pictures or videos would be on this site. I had trouble uploading them at first and couldn't do it. I must be true to my word so I am going to upload videos of the great folks I have met and didn't follow my word.
My second epiphany is my realization that I abhor going to any form of tourist attraction. If I have to wait in line to see some sort of organized performance I have a sudden revulsion. I want to see and explore everything in its natural state.
Thus far Ocracoke Island and the southern outer banks fit nicely into what I had expected as far as they charged no fees for its beauty. The heat and mosquitoes were brutal though. The Cape Hatteras Light House charged $7.00, and the ferry from Cedar Island, $15.00. The ferry heading north from Ocracoke was free.
Well, I am heading north today. I will make this a good drive I think. Unless something cool comes up.
