This is a VERY delayed entry, but I wanted to post my pictures from Hangzhou. I visted Hangzhou during holiday week, after Huangshan. It was a beautiful place and I cannot wait to return! Hangzhou and Suzhou are known by the Chinese as the two heavens on earth and there is definetely a reason.

Our hostel was gorgeous, a huge improvement to the less than stellar accomendations at Huangshan. I never realized that hostels could be so nice! I have certaintly stayed in hotels that were of lesser quality and much higher price! The hostel was located next to Xihu (West Lake) the main attraction of Hangzhou. This led to us seeing some beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Most of our time spent in Hangzhou was just relaxing; after climbing Huangshan we were not ready to do any intense sightseeing. However, we had an amazing time and I will let the pictures tell the stories.
