Wooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!

I went skydiving this morning!!!! 12,000 feet. It was so incredibly
exhilirating, liberating even - Nick ;) We had 30 seconds of freefall,
tumbling and it seems i forgot to breathe until we stopped tumbling, when
I finally got around to taking a big gulp of air it was really psycho, coz
we were falling so fast that you could feel your cheeks being pushed back.
I have just seen the DVD, and the face rippling under the pressure is SOOOO
not attractive!!!!!

I am hooked. As soon as I get home I will be jumping again if anybody wants
to come, highly recommended. I had a huge grin on my face the whole way down.

Got home from skydiving and found one of the volunteers home early from
work. Volunteer #4 to get stitches from the lions :) hehehehe...... What a
great scar to have with an even better story.

Yesterday morning I was assigned to do a border patrol of the national park
with one of the guides. There was some wild lions at the waterhole the previous
night, so instead of border patrol, we tracked wild lions for a couple of
hours. Didn't find them, but even the threat of finding them is a little nerve
racking when you are on foot in the middle of nowhere. Learnt how to identify
their spoors, the different signs of their presence they leave behind, ranging
from droppings, and footprints to spraying on trees and trodden grass. Quite
interesting.
