We had eight days.
Our flight took us to Istanbul. There was a driver waiting to transport us to our hotel. Over the next few days we would learn that the Turkish have an extremely reliable tourist service.
Check in at Adora Hotel was easy and our room had everything we needed - bed, bath, toilet. After off loading the bags we headed down for breakfast and then out for a walk around the area.
It was cold. And charming. I love the stone pavement. The narrow streets. The numerous cafe's and outdoor settings. We sat and drank shay while debating our next move.
The first item on our agenda was a Turkish hamaam.
