I had a my first penguin sighting today! Well at least I THINK it was a penguin. He was dancing with a very pretty lady in a colorful dress. Perhaps it wasn't a penguin but a man in a tuxedo dancing the TANGO. Argentina is famous for tango dancing. This highly acrobatic style of dance is amazing in its complexity. These dancers train for years to become this good. We had tango lessons at my birthday and it somehow looked a little different! Interestingly, in Argentina Tango is just as much about the music as the dance because the rest of us really associate it with dance.

Comments
They say that Tango will "waits" for us - that the sentiments grow to meet all of us with age and experience. As we grow older, the loves we share, lose, the sorrows, these are all feelings that are deeply felt and ultimately expressed when dancing tango. There are two kinds - tango "show" and tango "liso" and both can be filled with the intensity of loss and promise.
Given how difficult it is to learn, it's going to be watiing for a while!
