Where I stayed

After breakfast (where we were informed they were out of bacon!) we checked out of the hotel and went back into Ormoc to find a photographer.  Yesterday, we had called one that would have cost $P18,000.  We went to another on the advice of Marycel's mom, but they were even more expensive, with their most basic package beginning at P19,000.  We tried to find the place we talked to yesterday, but found another, Santo Nino, that cost us but P15,000.  After viewing their portfolio and sample videos, we put a down payment on their services (two photographers and videographer attended the wedding -- we won't get the actual photos for several weeks yet).

[NOTE TO READERS:  Perhaps you get what you pay for.  We were happy with the still photos and the wedding album was very nice.  The video, however, was on the cheesy side, and they saw fit to put words in my mouth that I never, ever would have said!  So a word of caution, if you use them (and probably any others as well), try to stay a little more engaged in the process and don't leave it entirely up to them for best results.  ]

Everything was now set -- except for the judge!  We also discovered that the mayor of Kananga could marry us if necessary.

We decided to return to Tacloban directly and go back to Kananga Wednesday to speak with the judge, then take care of some last minute shopping in Ormoc City.
