On the drive back to Phuket, it was a little unsettling to Tracy to see the pigs in the wired cages, knowing full well what their demise was to be... We checked in to Sunset Apartments and got all settled in when we were offered the House to stay in which was 4 floors! The main floor consisted of living room, dining and kitchen area, plus a bathroom. Second floor had 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms had a balconey. Third floor had a bathroom, cabinets and full bathroom, plus a nice balconey. Fourth floor was "A Bar!!".
Our apartment hostesses knew us well enough - that's for sure. We ended up pulling the couch and chairs out of the apartment so we could sit outside all the time seeing as it never gets cold. They basically stayed out there the whole duration of our stay cause the TV was seldom on.
Had some crabby neighbours cause apparently we are a "loud" bunch. Yeah well we're Canadians whose main mission in life is to laugh and enjoy life as opposed to being miserable arseholes. Tourists there can be grumpy which is unbelieveable considering it's such an amazing area and the locals are more than friendly and accommodating. Especially if there's a tip to be had!!
Well couldn't get enough of the beaches, local nightlife and local people. We partied a lot, but also did tours along the way. Sherry & I headed to James Bond island on the Ferry which was nothing short of amazing. Lots of little islands everywhere. This time the ride was smooth as can be. Steps were made out of the rock itself and a little tourist trap area was also there of course. Did some kayaking through caves and were in complete awe of the beauty.
Next tour was several days later - we checked out Phantasea which was a Vegas type show. It was really entertaining and we were 5 rows back from the stage with beers we were not supposed to bring into the theatre - yep, we're little Rebels all right!! Ended up riding back with a bunch of fella's from Iraq. Well we made sure they knew we were NOT Americans which of course brought laughter throughout the entire van. They could surmise as much cause we laughed far too much and were far too polite to be American as the one fella said.
Spent a great deal of time on the beach hanging out, enjoying life, warm water and servant type service - holy crap!  Even ventured to former PM's Thaksin's brothers resort to take a big ole dump in his resorts washroom. Felt pretty good flushing that toilet!!
Did some para-sailing, jet skiing, loads of eating, drinking, swimming and sun tanning. Also  played frisbee and the like. Too much fun, can't wait to go back!!
