What a wonderful sight seeing that purple shirt and big wave as I'm coming down the escalators. Gail's smile was Huge which was reciprocated! After a good ole Hug and how are you, we gathered luggage and knew Claude was circling the airport in the truck waiting for us. Gail and I chatted the entire time. Threw the luggage in the pickup in the "no stopping" zone quicker than quick. Hopped in and proceeded to drive back to their house.

Ride was uneventful and we chatted the entire time. Of course Gail brought some beverages and a little picnic for the ride back. It was dark when we arrived at their house, but good ole K-OS was there waiting and barking with excitement when pulling into the driveway. I was taking it all in and knew this was going to be such a comfortable place to hang out with amazing folks.

First order of business, a cold beer and tour of the house. Gail has great taste in colours and Claude is a great painter. Their home was just beautiful. Had such a nice night visiting and of course one of Gails home cooked meals - nummmmmmy! Justin came back so he was able to join us too.

Next day consisted of a tour of the area and hanging out by the St. Lawrence River. Such a beautiful part of Ontario. Even got some history of the area cause both Gail and Claude grew up here. Some great old smaller communities and tons of farm land!

Did have an allergy flare up so took a Sudafed and it wasn't clear after an hour, so took another and holy high batman...I had a buzzola happening! It did dry up the snoz tho! Popped out to Claude's brother's place but he wasn't there (turns out he was over to see us).

When we headed back, a bonfire was in order, along with some more cold ones. Claude knows how to build a fire alright. They have such an excellent area in their backyard. Popped onto the TransCanada Walking Trail so K-OS could have a bathroom break out of his backyard. Back to fire, then some of their family dropped in (I was Claude's girlfriend, after all lol).

Afte the fire another great supper - Great Slave lake trout on the BBQ courtesy of Claude. Gail fixed up the rest of dinner and we hung out till the wee hours - good laughs, and just great vibes the entire time!

Off to Ottawa, so we elected to take back roads which is way more scenic! Found the hotel without issue (Love GPS). Said our goodbye's, big hugs with the hope we will see one another again soon. Thanks to Gail and Claude for EVERYTHING - you are truly amazing hosts! Love you both!!!
