Day two and we all slept really, really well so were raring to go early. Had coffee and tea to start the day off, showered and decided to just start walking and exploring. We ended up getting back to the City center without even really trying. Talk about luck.

There were so many amazing old buildings that were just beautiful. Everything was so new to us we just took it all in. It's fall in Munich so the leaves were a falling and the colours were awesome. We’d check out some great streets and window shopped to our hearts content basically cause very little is open on Sundays. Mostly just the service industry. There wasn’t a lot of traffic either. It’s an easy city to walk in.

Headed into this really old church (thank gawd there wasn’t a service going on) and were just amazed by the stained glass windows, architecture and the huge pipe organ. The doors were also really large – not sure why. Even the pews had beautiful hand carved edges along the aisles.

We ended up stopping at this great little restaurant that sold all kinds of salads and healthy sandwiches. No deep friend anything here I tell ya. We all ordered something different and that hit the spot, perfect lunch. Decided to keep walking about and took a bunch more pictures – even one of the beer hall. Well the mime outside of the hall was entertaining us to no end, so had to get a couple of photo’s with him. He was hilarious.

Thought we best start heading back cause we had to checkout by 2. Gwen noticed the time on the bell tower of a church and it was an hour earlier that Sherry’s watch – doh, forgot about the Daylight savings time. Took a different route back and ended up going full circle. Had a bit of time to kill, so we grabbed a 500ml beer and walked along the road our hotel was on to take it a little bit more.

Checked out, grabbed a cab to the train station, then sat for a beverage in the restaurant and headed off to our train. First time on a European train, so when we got on these 3 kids zoomed in front of us and grabbed the compartment we were going to sit in – not one of the 6 seats were taken. Kept going and located another. Lots of empty seats – so this is a great time of the year to be training it!

Went to the restaurant car for a beverage and took in the incredible view. It’s just so damn beautiful really. Headed back to our seats and tried to nap, but that proved elusive again, so took in the surroundings.
