Ahhh heading home. Wow, quite a few Japanese tourists onboard the aircraft. I'd say 65%. That's great for the tourism industry. Had a nice little nap and awoke about 30 minutes outside of Yellowknife. The flight attendant was kind enough to walk down the aisle carrying a piece of paper with -38C and a happy face on it. Of course she gave Everybody a smile as she showed it to everyone, complete with a bit of a chuckle. Well I laughed my arse off at that. What was even funnier was the expression on these poor tourists faces when they disembarked the aircraft. I don't know if it was shock or awe or both! Frickin funny stuff.

We played it smart and called a cab as soon as we landed so it would be outside by the time our bags arrived. Sure enough, the plan worked like a charm as there was quite a few people waiting for cabs. Sorry, excuse me, pardon me...that's our cab!!

When we got home, it took Tristen a minute to realize who it was at the door. She looked a bit stunned, but then the reality and realization kicked in and she talked our bloody ears off!!! It was so endearing and charming. Elaine had plugged the truck in, so I fired it up to go get some groceries and video's before we got too comfortable in a warm home. Tristan continued to talk our ear off for some time to come. She was soooooo excited and her smile showed it.

Grabbed our groceries and videos and proceeded to pull the matress out of the bedroom onto the living room floor and fully enjoy the surround sound system watching movies. This is the ONLY time Tristan is allowed on the bed cause we cover it with a sheet due to her never ending shedding syndrome. Ahhhhh, home sweet home. Neither one of us wanted to venture too far outside cause it was a bloody freezer. Need at least a few days to climatize. Whew!!!
