Direct flight to Vancouver was a real treat! Upon arrival it was warm to us, but chilly to our cab driver. It started to drizzle on the way into Vancouver - sigh...Steve had to meet a client, so Leila waited at the condo until we arrived. She showed us the place in one 360, then had a quick visit and handed over the keys.

Sherry & I wandered downtown to grab some shades and lunch. We were both exhausted as a result of staying up too late the night before for Christmas dinner with family and friends. Jeesh, good thing we packed the afternoon before. Sharon was dumbfounded that we Just started to pack the afternoon before leaving.

Steve got home after our nap and we decided to head down to one of the 180 Starbucks to catch up with one another. Ended up seing Dave Unger, so said a quick hello. Then we went to the Keg for dinner and had an awesome visit and meal. Last chance for Canadian Beef! Walked around and hit up the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for dessert (yeah, just what we needed - another 5 pounds!!). Headed back to the condo and had sooo many laughs until it hurt. So that's what Steve sounds like with uncontrollable laughter (don't know what we were laughing harder at).

We all headed out the next morning, dropped Leila off to work and back into Starbucks for another coffee before hitting up all the lines we knew we were about to face. Sure enough, the airport line was gymongous. Here we go....ready for the 13 hr 45 min flight to Hong Kong. Turned out to be longer cause the flight was delayed about 90 minutes on the ground in Vancouver.  Oh well, that's life around Xmas time!!
