Well, the plane was delayed by about an hour, but we finally made it to Milan (without a valid ticket from the airport to the city train station, but we avoided the fine....)

The hotel is very nice, and a very short walk to the train station.

21/8/07 Have just been shopping - love Milan - found the Dainese store and bought a new jacket and protective pants for the m/cycle, and Lyndal has some new clothes for work....

Pity about the constant drizzle..........

Lyndal has also found out she has a new role when she gets back to work, acting as an Exec Officer (at the 5 level, no less!) - just as well - got a huge c/card debt to pay off!

Say Hi to the Reynolds'
I guess you are both on your way to Switzerland now. I was trying to teach Sass to yodel at the week-end, having been in Switzerland maybe you two will be more able to teach that skill on your return to Oz??
Say 'Hi' to Sharon, Dave and Angus for me. I hear that they are definitely returning to Perth early next year - it'll be lovely to see them home again.
We are all ok - I am a CCO for a couple of weeks owing to office being short-staffed but am taking it in my stride. Say big 'Congrat's' to Lyndal for me - can she offer me a higher level position? Watch out Heather!!
