We took a little tour into Bavaria with bobstours, we finished with the Sound of Music Tour and one of the couples with us was going to do the Bavarian Tour so we decide to go. OMG the view YOU can not even explain it. Take a look at the pictures. We went and saw the Eagle's Nest which was Hitler's 50th Birthday Present from the State. Though he was not here more then 4 times if more then that they do not know. He was very afraid of Heights and Clausterphobic.
From there we went the town of Berchtesgaden and did some little shopping. then back to Sazburg.
Once again we had a fantastic if not VERY pleasing to the Eyes as you can see by a photo below. These guides are so friendly, they know the area and very informative. HE was fantastic, Mary wanted to walk down the mountain from the Eagle's Nest So Her, Mel and Debbie and the guide walked down the mountain. Which really wasn't that far but far enough.
We had gotten lucky because earlier in the day it was rainy and somewhat gloomy and it cleared up when we started on the Bavarian tour. So you were able to see MILES and miles from up top the Alps. Once again IT IS so darn gorgeous I mean it it is hard to describe the view. And is very ironic because the next day when we left The mountains had gotta dumped on with snow. So we were pretty sure Eagles Nest was closed.
