Fiji is wonderful. We are having the best time. Last night when we arrived we couldn't believe how nice the resort was. We were greated with greetings of "Bula" which apparantly means hello, goodbye, have fun, enjoy life, good luck, etc. We had a delicious meal at an outdoor restaurant overlooking the grounds. The girls went swimming and loved every minute. Today we went on a cruise to one of Fiji's 3000 islands. The island we went to was called, "Mystery island". It was pretty small. YOu could walk around the whole island in 10 - 15 minutes. We got to go snorkeling, swimming, have a barbeque lunch and lay on the beach. We went to the island on a sailboat and were entertained with singing and guitar playing with Fijians. It was a great experience. Half of the fun was meeting people from around the world. I also talked with some people at lunch who were from St. Louis. Tonight we went shopping and shared some pizzas. right now the girls are having a final swim. jAs sad as we are to leave Fiji so soon, we are excited to meet the rest of the group tomorrow in New Zealand. We have a wake up call of 5:30, so everyone will go to bed early. YOu would all be so proud of your daughters. They have been polite, friendly and appreciative. I haven't heard any complaining. They have taken advantage of the opportunity to try new things and really enjoy the culture. They all said to explain that they haven't called because we don't have easy access to pay phones. They do miss you all and are sure to come home with a great appreciation for our world and for all of you! I am being charged by the minute so I have to go. I will write tomorrow from New Zealand. Bula!

Sure - rub it in!
Hi! You really know how to rub it in. Fiji sounds beautiful! Dinner overlooking the grounds of the beautiful resort, it must be rough! Don't worry about us. We are busy with laundry, dishes and mowing our beautiful grounds here in Omaha! Love you lots and miss you tons! Dan, Rose, Hannah, Maggie, Molly, and Jake.
