Shanghai is a city that lights up at night, it is my favorite time to go out and look around. The riverside area with the Bund on one side and Pudong on the other is the best spot, with lights all around, showing off the beautiful buildings. Old on one side and the new on the other. The river boats and the ferry are great ways to see all of the sites and nice and cool at night when it's really hot out.

Shanghai is all about shopping and eating, so a place made for me. All of the key shopping areas are open late and lit up at night as well, so it's fun to shop and eat and just wander around. There are so many stores full of the most beautiful silk dresses, and no two are the same. Dresses are my weakness and already I have found a couple gorgeous ones, but my bags are pretty full, so that should help. This is also the place for the cutest shoes I have ever seen, unfortunately or maybe fortunately they very rarely come in my size, everyone has tiny little feet here. I haven't given up yet.
