Brussels was all about grand architecture.....and waffles. You can get these amazing freshly made waffles everywhere. And chocolates....wow. I had told Ashley that Brussels had waffles and beer so in the space of 2 hours we had eaten a plate of waffles, been to the beer museum and the chocolate museuem (with tastings) and bought, and eaten Belgium chocolates. A highly successful trip.

We collected out luggage and headed to the train for Lille.

That's okay-Darrel Lea are still supplying existing stores and franchisees and with any luck a sale will go through and I can continue to enjoy their strawberry nougart bars and dark chocolate coated saltana's. It's not time to panic just yet.
