Grand Prix

Well here I am sitting in Bangkok airport, my flight has been delayed for three hours but at last some decent Internet time on a decent machine.  Due to the delay they have let us use the airport lounge,,,so every cloud eh.

So yesterday and the Grand Prix practice day oh my god how cool was that.  Only cost me 150MR about 28quid.  Saw the hours practice session followed by a Porsche race...my ears hurt!  It was 52 degrees on the track with an air temp of 34 degrees.  No sun block so I came away a little browner than when I went.  The enclosure had a roof so not completely exposed.


I can't believe how blonde I was though...I finally realised that taking pictures of cars at that speed was a non starter (although I did manage a couple) so took a movie thing of it only to delete it...doh

Sonja had a bit of a disaster on the way to picking me up, she had an accident which meant the intrepid traveler as I am now becoming had to make her way from Sepang to Sonja's house in Bangsar on her own.  Obviously I managed it..

Sonja didn't get home until 10:00 but we still went out anyway to the Fish and Ship restaurant I went to the first night I was here, so quite apt really that it should be my last.

Slept through the alarm, it was under the covers!! But luckily I was awake at 7:17.  The flight form KL to Bangkok was delayed by 45 minutes which I thought was bad enough and Jess but this time I had a screaming child next to me!!!!

Then to cap it all the flight to Koh Samui was delayed too but I'm ok about it really. 

Anyway I'm going to upload some pictures on to the previous entries now that I've figured out how to do it...so go back and check the previous entries
