Again I arrived early and tired after an overnight bus trip and I made my way to the hostel I'd booked at Iguazu Falls called the Hostel Inn. It was recommended to me because of the huge pool that is the focal point of the hostel. However as checkin was not until 2pm I had to hang out and swelter in the heat and humidity. Finally I was able to go to my room and rest. It is definitely a party hostel but the place severely lacked in staff and towels, so that everytime I went to the reception desk I had to wait at least 10 minutes for any help.

Anyway I spent the whole of the next day trying to organise my Brazilian Airpass. I had heard from a Swedish girl in El Bolson that it was possible to purchase an Airpass outside of Brazil which consists of 4 internal Brazilian flights for around $600 USD and since I was planning to cover a lot of miles in Brazil it made sense. At the end of the business day whilst I had all the paperwork done, the fax had failed to transmit to the company in Miami and so I had one more chance the following day. However I had booked a tour to Iguazu Falls for the next day so I would have to delay trying to sending the fax until after I had been to the falls.

So the next day I went on my tour around the falls which were absolutely amazing but to be honest I couldn't truly enjoy the falls as much as they deserved since I still had that bloody airpass in the back of mind. However I tried as best I could and did enjoy the adventure boat which took us up and under the falls where we were completely soaked. Next after wandering back up the paths from the base of the falls I headed to the Devil's Mouth which is right at the back of the falls and has a magnificent view down as the water flows over. It was about 2km further up the river and after walking to a position aproximately parallel to the Devil's Mouth I then had to walk along a series of walkways out over the river to the viewpoint down the Devil's Mouth. It was a lovely walk and the view was definitely awe inspiring. Finally I did an ecological tour along the river in a paddle boat and saw some crocodiles and many different birds. It was a fantastic way to finish my day at the falls before I headed back to the hostel to pick up my documents and then headed into town to try and fax them again. This time however I was successful and the company received them and processed my tickets, so I was all good for Brazil. The next day I was to depart Argentina for Brazil which I had been very much looking forward to seeing and experiencing.
