*the house was signed off on by the management company,
*all of my belongings were put into my new address at morgan hill storage (all fit into a 10x30 unit), we spent my last night in CA at CordeValle (where Rhoni and I spent our first night in CA - its appropriate),
*had a drink with Chef Luca (my first friend in CA as we both moved there at the same time and were living at the hotel until we found houses),
*said goodbye to our great neighbors Lisa and Art
*and with the Saab packed to the hilt, we backed out of the driveway and began our journey up the pacific coast to seattle.
it was the end of the day and just getting dusk, but we were anxious to begin the journey.
Began at Half Moon Bay - the perfect starting point for the coastal drive.
Mark found us a charming inn - The Cypress Inn - our suite overlooked Maverick. He surprised me with a bottle of wine to toast the adventure ! The room was beautiful and the view and sound of the waves crashing through the night was perfect.
a great beginning......we know this will be a journey of surpises, lots of laughs, amazing vistas, incredible stories and alot of fun. I promise to keep you up to date....here we go................
